| I started in the world of product design, human centred design and user experience under the tutelage of James Luther (Creative director at Frog Design); and since then I've been bringing a unique and disruptive innovative perspective to every project I get involved with. I have more than 10 years of experience working for small start-ups and design studios to some of the most influential companies around the world (UK, Mexico, Italy, China and India), helping them to get re-discovered through design thinking.

Bio / Overview
I have more than 10 years of experience working for companies of all sizes and around the world helping them to get re-discovered through disruptive innovation and design thinking; from small start-ups and design studios such as Hunpel (Mexico), Soma Design Studio (Mexico), Artefice (Italia) and Open Design (China) Raffles International (India) to some of the most influential companies such as Unilever, Nestlé, 3M, Indesit, Universal Music, Ideal Standard, among others.
My persistence and work have been recognised with global accolades, granted scholarships and funding, as well as the worldwide media exposure. As part of my interest in the dissemination of design I've given design lectures, talks and workshops at design institutes and universities in Mexico (U.A.E.Mex., UVM) and India (Raffles Millennium International), at the Disruptive Innovation Festival (DIF 2015) in London as well as PechaKucha nights at Milan (2011) and Mexico (2014).
Currently I'm working as Product Design Consultant and Human Centred Design specialist in United Kingdom; and actively taking part of initiatives to transform the world through design.
Professional Background
I started my career as an Industrial and Product designer at design studios based in Mexico, Italy and China working for worldwide influential brands where I gained experience as a Product Designer. In 2006 I joined Hunpel design studio (Mexico) where I worked as product designer and mock-up specialist for automotive and transport design projects.
In 2009, I partnered to found SOMA, a product design and disruptive innovation firm where I worked as a product design consultant for clients in Mexico, Italy, Canada and India. I've gained international recognition through my work and in 2010 I worked as Product design and Strategic innovation consultant for Artefice Group (Italy) developing projects with a sustainability approach.
I've been involved in the diffusion of Design and Innovation, lecturing in Product design and Industrial Design programs in Mexico and India from 2011 to 2013. In November 2013 I joined Cranfield University in a PhD program where I looked at the development of more sustainable materials through design driven strategies within a circular economy framework. In 2017 I joined the Product Design program at the Huddersfield University (UK), as a Senior Product Designer and Researcher where I'm a Human Centred Design evangelist, always advocating, educating, and inspiring young designers.
